Composite Deck Rebuild

We were contracted to remove an aging wood deck and replace it with a low-maintenance, high-performance TimberTech composite decking system. This upgrade not only enhances durability and appearance but also ensures long-term protection from the elements.

The project features a Crystalite cable rail system for a sleek, modern look while maintaining open views and safety. We integrated deck lighting beneath the rails and along the stair risers, adding both ambiance and functionality after dark.

During demolition, we discovered one corner of the framing had begun to sag, so our team rebuilt that section to restore structural integrity before laying down the new surface.

To achieve a seamless, polished finish, we applied a waterfall effect on the stair edges, which helped conceal any non-factory cuts. We also used Trex hidden fasteners for a clean installation and applied Trex joist tape to protect the substructure from moisture and rot over time.
